Louis Dousset Tradition is fresh, youthful and energizing. Pale yellow in the glass with lively bubbles that form a pure white crown. Delicate aromas of fresh white flowers, breadcrumbs and quince. Bright, soft and gentle at first then opening up to reveal a firmer character. The dosage provides the perfect liveliness of the bubbles that lift the palate. Champagne J.C. Ricciuti, Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs is the boozy liquid croissant we have all been looking for. The ultimate showcase of 100% Chardonnay from Grand Cru from ‘Cote des Blancs’, this champagne is full bodied elegance with brioche, pear puff pastry and a creme brûlée. Brut style and rich palate that sings with fresh acidity. Food pairings are endless; try fettuccine Alfredo, fried chicken, or duck ramen.
Wafflart Antoniolli Brut Rose, the rhubarb pie and wild strawberries that ended up being the first wine opened for the business. Thierry Wafflart, President of the village co-op, also makes his own champagnes at his family’s small domaine. Pinot Meunier takes center stage making up 60% of the blend with the balance to Pinot Noir. All sourced from family 1er Cru holdings in Sacy which is part of the Reims district.
