Bring friends to a blind tasting and a pizza party! Kat will guide you through sensory language and how to taste with quality in mind. You will learn the WSET Level 3 Grid to form a quality statement and assess whether a wine improves with age. Then, enjoy a pizza sampler from Tacoma’s PSP and reflect on the pairing experience as flavors unfold.
The session invites discussion of regional styles and textures as you taste while aging may influence aroma and balance. Finally, the goal is to connect palate, place, and practice in a relaxed setting.
